Cancer Care North Wales Conference 2009: “A Place in the Country”
Conference Centre, Glyndwr University, Wrexham, Wales, 11–12 November 2009
The conference will take place on 11th and 12th November 2009 and will demonstrate and share innovations in cancer treatment, supportive and palliative care research across North Wales, with particular emphasis on the challenges of delivering services in a rural environment, including the provision of a regional specialist surgical oncology centre for oesophago-gastric cancer, and we are sure that this theme will be of interest to clinicians in other rural areas of the UK.
The conference will also give an update on cancer, supportive and palliative care policy in Wales, looking forward over the next 10 years. The conference is designed for all those involved in cancer and palliative care. It will therefore be valuable for clinicians working in these fields, people working in hospice and specialist palliative care and service user groups and we would therefore very much like to bring these event to the attention of members of your network.
